• Here is a nice example of a local currency: http://brixtonpound.org/ Possibly not relevant as they had no idea where the debt was that they were buying, but I really like this project where they bought debt at the kind of low prices banks do and wrote it off: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/mar/23/hoe-street-central-bank-walthamstow-london-debt I appreciate it's nothing new but would credit unions be relevant here?
