Social Innovation Community (SIC) was a three-year project (2016-19) funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 program. It aimed to deepen the knowledge on social innovation (SI) and capacity of SI networks to act and grow, and to support public decision-makers and other stakeholders to work with social innovators more effectively in solving public challenges. Some of the SI processes facilitated aim to support social inclusion through the development of new collaborations and innovative solutions. Some of the processes link environmental and social sustainability.
